Next Academy understands the importance of computer science, this is why we have implements the CSTA K-12 Computer science standards into the curriculum. The goal for Next Academy  to teach CS to K-5 students goes well beyond career development. For kids just entering school, teaching CS is about giving them the thinking skills that will help them become proactive learners and citizens — as opposed to just consumers and denizens — in a world that's increasingly influenced by the manipulation of the digital bit.  We want our students to be prepared for a digital world.
